About the Item
An important Swiss art deco centerpiece.
Beautiful and unusual antique piece, created in Switzerland during the Art Deco period, back in the 1930s. This round center compote has been crafted in solid .925/.999 sterling silver with very high polished surfaces and finished with an exceptional gilding of 22 karats.
The design is composed by the base with screwed mountings attached to the main body and a removable lid embellished with a white carved sphere.
Has a total weight of 1,191 Grams and an overall measurements of 178 mm by 178 mm by 102 mm (7 x 7 x 4 Inches).
Stamped with the maker's mark, the Swiss warranty hallmarks and the sterling assay mark .925.
Condition: The overall condition of this piece is excellent. Beside the little normal wear, there is no damage to the sterling and the gold. This piece has been carefully inspected to guarantee the condition and authenticity.
