Decoration Rosewood with brass stringing and inlay
Measures: Width 30 cm / 11 3/4 in
Depth 24.5 cm / 9 3/4 in
Height 16.5 cm / 6 1/2 in
Good condition. Sound structure. A few marks to finish commensurate with age. Non structural split to top as pictured. Little stiffness to the lock catch, needs attention. Original leather lining to interior. Compartment separators missing to tray. Old inkwells not matching. letter compartment to underside of lid has a small modern velcro patch on to aid closure
Top handle plate engraved with owners name "Miss Selby"
Hinged lid lifts up to reveal leather lined interior
Drawer for gold coinage and jewellery to the bottom with inside locking pin.
