Early 20th Century American Hand Carved Two-Tier Collector's Chest
About the Item
Hand carved decorative box / collector's chest, circa early 20th century. Features a hinged-top that opens to reveal two, stacked, sliding trays (one lidded and removable, one open). The top is quite heavy, and, subsequently, there is some splitting to the wood near the hinges from opening the top without manually supporting it. All hardware is original: one brass handle is missing the lower half, as shown.
Patina / wear from age and use; remains in good, antique condition.
