Japan, Edo to Meiji period, a circular with an inner tray lacquer box and cover, decorated with mother-of-pearl-inlaid a lot of intricated carving everywhere including the inner tray with 7 compartments, inlaid with flowers, trees, leaves, figures, boat, rocks, and more different patterns, very high skill and patient of artwork.
