About the Item
Postmodern artisan-made sculptural, carved granite & aluminum stand displayed with handmade, studio craft, teak trinket box.
Such a beautiful and unique pairing of objects. We've combined two one-of-a-kind pieces to create tension and contrast between them.
The base is a granite cylinder on aluminum legs, rising from charcoal rocks. The base supports and displays a sumptuous lidded teak squat round lidded trinket box. The bottom of the box is rounded, yet stable on the display base.
Both objects have a wonderful hand feel and weight for their size. Both display all of the elements that make collecting art and art objects a pleasure. We appreciate the maker and are excited to share the passion with which these pieces were made.
