About the Item
A rare English George II cellarette in the form of a pagoda, with removable top with brass acanthus knop or finial, side handles, and liner, as well as two drawers, and all raised on a bracket base. This cellarette or caddy dates to the 18th century and is in very good overall condition, with some veneer shrinkage, minor surface imperfections, losses, and wear commensurate with age and use. Dimensions: Approximately 22.5 in H x 12 in square. Ref: 14668
