Rare Pair of 18th Century Georgian Mahogany Wall Hanging Boxes
About the Item
An extremely rare and delightful pair of late 18th century mahogany wall
Hanging boxes, the larger for storage of candles and the smaller for salt,
Having elegant one piece pierced fretwork backs
(These charming and practical boxes are in good condition and are a sweet
size. It is rare to find matching Salt & Candle boxes that were originally paired
together still in each others company and that is something that really sets
these apart from a couple of other individual ones which may be placed together.)
