Royal House Antiques is delighted to offer for sale this stunning, hand carved Black Forest wood, smoking pipe cabinet or rack with inscribed top reading "Nil Nisi Cruce" which translates to "Nothing Without Suffering"
This piece is basically art furniture, every panel has a carved scene which tells a story, inside it houses 16 pipes and you have a large box on top for tobacco or accessories
The condition is perfect for the age which is 1870-1880, we have cleaned waxed and polished it from top to bottom
