About the Item

Covered porcelain jar, covered pot, with canted sides, glazed with a relief decoration of brown foliage on a white background, revealing a dog, a cat, a donkey, and a smoking monkey on each side. The lid features the same decoration and is topped with a bear smoking a pipe at the top. Signed on the back of the lid. France, 1910s.
