About the Item

19th century burr elm teapoy circa 1840. Very good quality example of a Scandinavian teapoy with a strong influence from the english regency period. Top is supported by a hexagonal fluted stem, which links to the quadriform base, which is all finished in the same wood. No glass jars to interior. Minor surface marks to woodwork.  Expected wear and losses to caddy lining's.
