About the Item

An exquisite pair of Gustavian Swedish crystal girandole candelabras for the table with marble bases and bronze fittings will lend warmth and elegance to your decor in every season. Gustavian pieces lend themselves so well to a mix of eras and aesthetics–I love these table chandeliers in a modern, minimalist interior. WHAT MAKES IT SPECIAL Perfectly minimal Gustavian interpretation of French Empire style. King Gustav III (1771-1792) established the Neo-Classical Scandinavian style, later referred to as Gustavian, after his visit to the courts of Versailles, bringing home French proportions and designs that were simplified by his royal workshops and artisans owing to the more limited selection of materials available in Sweden at the time. Kindly note candles are not included. Shown in a living room designed by art advisory and interiors firm Art/artefact featuring the art of Lars Ly: The Beyond Landscape.
