An Exceptional Pair of Mid-Century Modern Silver Gilt Candelabra, Dated 1960

About the Item

An exceptionally fine pair of gilded sterling silver candelabra, showing upswept branches with tulip shaped nozzles radiating from domed weighted bases. Both exhibiting a lustrous gold finish and bearing impressed hallmarks for Birmingham 1960 together with maker’s marks for Barker Brothers. In addition to their beautiful gilded appearance, the advantage of gilding thereby greatly reduces the need & frequency of polishing. Both remain in extremely fine overall condition, and are priced competitively in comparison to similar examples in the marketplace, which there are very few, if any.
