About the Item
An attractive true pair of chinoiserie French Charles X period ormolu candelabra. Set upon six sides bases with florally decorated six sided stems. On one stem stands the figure of a chinese gentleman in flowing robes, boots, a feathered hat holding above his head in his left hand a chinese parasol above which are held aloft the four candle sconces. Upon the other stem is a female chinese figure with her hair up and also holding a chinese parasol but in her right hand ( and so opposing)
