Pair of French 19th Century Louis XVI Style Sèvres Porcelain Candelabras

About the Item

A stunning pair of French 19th century Louis XVI st. cobalt blue Sèvres porcelain and ormolu three arm candelabra. Each candelabra is raised by a mottled square ormolu base with concave corners and a fine Coeur de Rai band. The socle pedestal displays fine interlocking patterns and rich foliate movements and designs on an intricate hammered background. The porcelain body is flanked by beautiful scrolled foliate handles leading up to the three arms, each adorned with exquisitely etched leaves and wonderfully executed roses and floral candle cups.
