About the Item

Totemic Sculptural Candelabra SVECHA, Organic Bionic Gothic Design, Recycled Paper Materials: Recycled waste paper, metal frame, decorative and protective coating Dimensions: 40 (D) × 60 (W) × 160 (H) cm Edition: Unique piece Created in: 2025 Location: Milan, Italy SVECHA is a sculptural candelabra where organic fluidity meets an almost architectural presence. Tall, tapering peaks — each crowned with a real candle — form a striking rhythm reminiscent of molten wax suspended in time, evoking warmth and quiet solemnity. Its branching, root-like base emerges from a rounded form, rising gracefully to turn candlelight into a performance. Flickering flames cast layered, shifting shadows, animating the space and blurring the boundaries between light, sculpture, and architecture. Handcrafted from recycled paper pulp over a metal armature and finished with a decorative-protective coating, SVECHA embodies sustainable design elevated to fine art. Every contour and curve is intentional, resulting in a one-of-a-kind piece merging functionality with sculptural expression. Pavel Vishnevsky Pavel Vishnevsky is an artist and designer from the Russian Far East, based in Milan. Pavel crafts functional art objects from recycled materials, primarily paper-based composites. Abstract biomorphic forms emerge from the depths of the subconscious, taking on tangible shapes reminiscent of living beings. His works explore the aesthetics of imperfection, reflecting natural beauty and authenticity. Each creation forms a dialogue with the surrounding space and the viewer, uncovering layers of meaning through the interplay of form, function, and emotions.
