Vintage Candleholder in Green Glass and Silver Plate from Carl Cohr, 1970s
About the Item
A rare candlestick lamp for regular sized candles. It''s special features is that the hidden candle is spring-loaded within the tube. As it burns the spring pushes the candle upwards. Its very similar to Hans Agne Jakobsson's Restaurant lamp. It was designed and made by Cohr in Denmark circa 1960-70. It has a silver plated base and a handblown glass shade in green/pickle. Measurements: Height: 38 cm, Diameter: 15 cm (shade).
