Pair of Venetian Moors Reggicero First Half of the 19th Century

About the Item

Pair of Moors resting on bases, Venice first half 19th century. Carved and lacquered Moors, clad in mecha-gilded and multicolored robes and shoes; with raised arm they support a candle base, while in the other they hold a small dish. The two moors rest on as many octagonal lacquered bases decorated with marbled elements and a pair of carved and gilded lion protomes. Non-coeval dishes.
