Hand Carved 18th Century Venetian Gilded Wood Candle Stand or Spike

About the Item

Fine 18th Century Venetian candle stand or spike, hand-carved and gilded wood. Beautiful columnar shape on a square platform base on bun feet. This gorgeous item is very decorative and will enhance any space whether used as a light fixture or its original intention with a large candle. Overall very good antique condition. This piece does not have its' iron bobeche. Minor losses to the gilt wood which are consistent with age. Measures: 6.75ʺW × 6.75ʺD × 27.5ʺH
