About the Item

The shapes of this candlestick, take inspiration from the story of Noah's Ark, re-enacted in a not too distant future, where rising sea levels have submerged everything. The protagonists, no longer recognizable animals, but a series of fantastical creatures, that clinging to the marine ropes, are watching us cynically. This handmade piece uses a special kind of clay, which is very resistant to impact, making it a long-lasting piece. The finish is a highly reflective chrome patina.
