About the Item
This interesting pair of bronze candlesticks combines the elegance of the Baroque with Gothic and Renaissance influences. The tripod base, finished with scrolls, is topped with a twisted shaft that continues with a smooth part of 13.5 cm (about 5.3 inches), before ending with an alternation of knots and rings.
On the smooth part, the branches supporting the bobeches slide and tighten on the stem using a butterfly screw, whose grip, in the shape of a crescent moon, makes it easy to adjust the height of the candles.
This bronze production, perhaps Italian or Spanish, typical of the eclectic style of the 19th century, is distinguished by its ornate and almost dreamlike side, which makes it a piece that is both aesthetic and intriguing. The brown patina of the bronze gives these candlesticks a visual depth and an old-world feel that is sure to attract attention and bring a touch of mystery and almost fantasy to your space.
