A strikingly impressive pair of early 20th century Egyptian Revival cold-painted spelter figural candlesticks, both showing columns cast in the form of finely modelled male & female Pharaoh figures, each holding aloft urn shaped vessels serving as candle nozzles, standing atop circular bases and decorated overall with original hand painted detail.

    Additions or alterations made to the original: The underside of one base showing later rudimentary restoration as found, which could easily be cosmetically corrected. Wear consistent with age and use. Both showing areas of surface wear & paint loss, but no structural damage or losses. Note: a restoration quote from our museum trained conservator can provided upon request.
