A strikingly impressive pair of early 20th century Egyptian Revival cold-painted spelter figural candlesticks, both showing columns cast in the form of finely modelled male & female Pharaoh figures, each holding aloft urn shaped vessels serving as candle nozzles, standing atop circular bases and decorated overall with original hand painted detail.

- Condition:Additions or alterations made to the original: The underside of one base showing later rudimentary restoration as found, which could easily be cosmetically corrected. Wear consistent with age and use. Both showing areas of surface wear & paint loss, but no structural damage or losses. Note: a restoration quote from our museum trained conservator can provided upon request.
