About the Item
Very tall pair of Neoclassical-style, sterling silver, Corinthian Column-form candlesticks, Birmingham, England, year-hallmarked for 1967, William A. Humphries, Ltd. - maker. Each candlestick measures approximately 11 1/4 inches high x 4 inches wide x 4 inches deep. A beaded design decorates the edges of the stepped up bases of each candlestick. This beaded motif is continued on the upper rim of the removable bobeche of each candlestick. The candlesticks are weighted. There are some very minor dints on each candlestick (see photos) which are commensurate with age and use. Dark areas in photos are reflections. The pair of candlesticks is in good condition.
