Nittsjo Sweden Pottery Midcentury Candleholders
About the Item
This pottery was founded in 1843 in the village of Nittsjö Sweden. It made mostly utility goods. The Lofgren family took over in 1917 and its descendants are still closely involved with the company. The designer Thomas Hellström joined the company in 1958 and was responsible for a huge rise in demand and commercial success during the 1960s. These candleholders are a beautiful set of Scandinavian Nittsjo pottery pieces in a square shape and incredible color that complement a Minimalist and functional style.
