Pair of French Candelabra by H. Cahieux & F. Barbedienne, 1880

About the Item

Pair of French Louis XVI style candelabra signed H. Cahieux and F. Barbedienne, 1880. Each vasiform, patinated bronze candelabrum is decorated with bird reliefs, a motif repeated at the bird-form finial seen rising above five curved ormolu arms. The candelabra rest upon rouge marble pedestal bases with ormolu claw feet.
