About the Item
Masterfully conceived and superbly executed, this may be the finest piece of Art Deco wrought iron we've ever offered. Reminiscent of the stylized work of William Hunt Diederich and the fine artisanry of Samuel Yellin, the reindeer figure displays extraordinary detail, such as the wisps of hair at the back of each leg, and the fantastic curve of the animal's tail. This sculpture was designed to serve as a candle stand.
