About the Item
This English mahogany table or bracket clock with bail handle is circa 1765, with a composite brass dial with recessed 4 ½” maker's boss marked Edward Foster, London.. It has a Roman numeral chapter ring with calendar ring engraved 1-31 around the inside , cast spandrels and alarm dial in arch, pierced brass sound frets backed with fabric, eight-day time and strike fusee movement with alarm.
