French Belle Époque Green Nephrite Carriage Clock Mounted with Gold

French Belle Époque green nephrite carriage clock mounted with gold French, c. 1900 Measures: Height 14.5cm, width 9cm, depth 7.5cm This charming carriage clock is crafted from nephrite and gold. The rectangular case of the clock is carved from green nephrite, with the front face centred with a circular enamel dial set behind glass and within a pierced gold bezel. Each corner of the case is adorned with a pierced foliate gold mount, while the top is adorned with an engraved loop handle. The clock is raised on four gold ball feet.

The clock is supported by a flat shaped gilt bronze base, the base supporting four gilt bronze columns that support the gilt bronze clock drum.
