Classic country style 1800s antique Swedish Mora clock with later white paint that has developed a wonderful natural cracked patina to it and you can see earlier painted designs through the paint on the lower body.
This original 1800s Mora clock has a beautiful face with a clean patina. It may have some slight cracking /lifting in the face enamel and may exhibit some paint lifting in places.
The clock body is distressed as befits its age and has the usual wood movement found in clocks of this age.
We will fit a battery chiming mechanism to the clock for you as the original mechanisms are very unreliable. We can do this without any damage to the clock and you will still receive the original clock mechanism separately 'as is' with the clock to keep in a cupboard.
