Antique Swedish Mora clock early 1800s in lovely white paint finish with a delicate shape body with lots of gold detailing and intricately carved and detailed hood in generally good condition. Measures: 215 cm. It has the classic extended belly of a traditional Swedish Mora clock with hand painted detail on the body section and detailed pedestal carving. The clock body has the usual wood movement and distressing found in clocks of this age. The face has some enamel lifting and inclusions which will be restored prior to shipping the clock is sold 'as is' : as a decorative piece only with the original mechanism and pendulum but not guaranteed to be in working order - If you want it working we can fit a professional hi torque battery mechanism for time keeping ( +£250) or you can have a great sounding chiming mech which replays the recorded chime through a small speaker with a volume control and 8 hour night off switch (+£350) These don’t come about often so here is your chance to get a really special Mora clock.

The clock has some paint distressing and it is structurally sound with the usual wood movement for a piece of its age. It has some slight cracking /lifting in the face enamel the face will be lightly restored prior to shipping.
