Antique "Commerce" Figural Mantel Clock by Ansonia Co. This late 19th Century "Commerce" figural mantel clock by Ansonia Co. with 8-day time and strike has a spring-driven movement with enameled open escapement dial and black Roman numerals. This clock also features a bronze bezel with hinged convex glass cover and a bronze casted Roman soldier sitting atop an ebonized ornate Rococo style base. The dial is marked "Mfg. by Ansonia Clock Co. New York U.S.A." Circa Late 19th Century Dimensions H 18" W 14" D 7.5"
