Antique French Bronze and Marble Mantel Set Clock Cherub Putti Napoleon III

About the Item

Napoleon III French clock named "The hour will ring" (visible inscription) signed by the sculptor Lorenzo Vergnano with stamp and number 553 on the back. It represents a building placed on blocks of stone with two pillars supporting a roof with the clock in the center, all in a vegetation and a woman hanging on the wall and holding a flower in her hand, made late 19th century circa 1890. A small restoration has been made on the flower The French movement of the clock will be checked before shipping In good condition with signs of wear.
