Art Deco Rare Miniature Alarm Clock by Jaeger-LeCoultre, c1930

About the Item

This is for a beautiful original and extremely stylish art deco desktop alarm clock made by Jaeger LeCoultre. It dates to the 30s, it has a 2 day movement and it has a green enamel body with a gilded stand and stylised art deco numerals. The face is clearly marked 'LeCoultre, Swiss' along with a number 2 in a circle. It is in excellent condition with no dents and no loss of enamel. The temptation to keep it is very high. We've had this Art Deco beauty fully serviced by an horologist and so comes to you in full working order and it's keeping time with a nice loud alarm. History Jaeger-LeCoultre (French pronunciation is a Swiss luxury watch and clock manufacturer based in Le Sentier, Switzerland, that dates back to the first half of the 19th century, founded by Antoine LeCoultre in 1833. The brand has hundreds of inventions and over a thousand calibres (movements) to its name, including the world’s smallest calibre, one of the world’s most complicated wristwatches and a timepiece of near-perpetual movement.
