A rare Art Nouveau mantel clock housed in a waisted mahogany case with applied silver front and standing on a stepped base. The silver front decorated with scrolls and floral decoration and bearing the hallmark for Chester 1908-1909.
Decorated gilded bezel opening to the enamel dial with floral decoration, Arabic numerals and original gilded hands.
Eight day French movement with platform escapement. C.1908
