About the Item

Attractive English silver and tortoiseshell and silver pique mantel clock. The silver case hallmarked for 1921 Birmingham, England. Dome topped silver case on a rectangular base with four silver bun feet. Circular dial within a glass bezel is of fine convex white enamel on copper with black Roman Numeral hour chapters and marked in red Arabic numerals at 15 minute intervals. Pair of good blued steel spade hands. Movement of 8 day duration, key wound and adjusted from the back. Regulated by its original cylinder escapement.
