This elegant mantel clock is a true collector's piece. It features a beautifully sculpted gilt bronze case adorned with delicate details, including floral garlands and putti. The central scene depicts a mother tenderly embracing her child, evoking the universal theme of maternal love. This representation adds an emotional and artistic dimension to the clock. The enameled dial is signed "Lépine à Paris" and displays Roman numerals and blued steel hands. The mechanical movement is in perfect working condition and strikes the hours and half-hours on a bell. The clock has recently been cleaned and serviced by a professional watchmaker specializing in museum collections maintenance. The clock is in excellent and perfect working condition.
