Very Fine 19th Century French Chinoiserie Silver and Gilt Three-Piece Garniture

About the Item

An important & rare silvered and gilt bronze 3-piece Chinoiserie clock garniture comprising a clock and two side pieces. The Pagoda form clock with 2 Chinese figures, one sitting playing the mandolin and the other standing with a bird on his arm, the base is highly decorated with dragons & bees, the legs in a gilt bronze dragon shape, made in France for Chinese Qing Court as a presentation gift France, Circa 1860 Dimensions: Clock height 24" (60.96) cm, width 10" (25.4cm), depth 6" (15.24). Candelabras 17.5" (44.45cm).
