Vintage English Devon Harrison Grasshopper Escapement Double Pendulum Skeleton Sea Clock MOVEMENT: 8 day wind up mechanism FUNCTION: time only SIZE: 16"H x 14-1/2"W x 7"D ORIGIN: Made by English Devon. CONDITION: This clock is complete and tested working. However, its working condition can not be guaranteed due to shipping. It will require adjustment after delivery. If you are not familiar with this type of clocks, please consult your local professionals. AGE: c. 1970's REMARK: time reads from 3 separated dials with second hand on top, minute hand in the middle and hour hand on the bottom. This clock has the famous grasshopper escapement with double baton pendulums, which swing back and forth on each side of the clock. This clock is built with solid heavy brass and sits on a rosewood base with an adjustable peg on each bottom corner.
