About the Item

An antique table clock in gilded and bronzed bronze, made in France during the Carlo X era, represents an authentic masterpiece of the art and horology of that period. The gilded and bronzed bronze case is a small work of art in itself, depicting with incredible detail two shepherds in the company of a dog, seated on a bronze rock, immersed in a moment of conviviality. The front part of the base is relief-decorated, with finely chiseled sculptures that testify to the extraordinary skill of the artisans involved in its creation. The clock's dial is a genuine work of art, with reliefs in the central part and Roman numerals that add a touch of classicism and refinement to the object. On the back of the dial, we find the Parisian movement signed "Pons" and a suspended pendulum, highlighting the authenticity and exceptional craftsmanship of this vintage clock. Even today, it continues to function flawlessly, a testament to the past that lives in the present. This table clock transports us back in time to the Carlo X era, a historical and design period characterized by incredible elegance and opulence. It is much more than just a clock; it is a work of art that enchants with its beauty and an open window to history. Every time you look at it, you find yourself in an atmosphere of timeless refinement and style, carrying with it the very essence of an era of French splendor and sophistication.
