About the Item

Elegant luxurious table clock by Mercedes, Germany. Made around 1965 from cut crystal glass from dark pink to clear, with a brass clock case & starburst-like shimmering dial. Cut glass became particularly fashionable during the middle of the 20th century in Germany. As Nachtmann was one of the most famous cut to clear glass makers, it is likely that the clock case has been made by them for Mercedes. The quartz clockwork works very well.
