Walnut Library Bracket Clock, Haley & Milner, London Finely figured walnut 5 glass case with moulded plinth and standing on pad feet with bevelled glass throughout. Front opening door revealing the silvered dial with Roman numerals, finely engraved dial mask and original ‘blued’ steel hands, signed Haley & Milner, Wigmore Street, London. Substantial Fusee timepiece movement with anchor escapement, regulating pendulum and pendulum holdfast. C. 1810 Watchmakers and Clockmakers of the World by Brian Loomes lists Haley & Milner as working in Wigmore Street, Cavendish Square, London from 1799-1815.
