DIAL / HANDS: WARRANTY: 18 months on the movement This rare and all original miniature carriage clock was produced for the legendary house of Shreve & Co. The workmanship is exceptional the Silver Hardware is all hand made. We have never seen this extraordinary clock before and it has just been given a factory quality service by our finest watchmaker. Shreve & Co. is a jewelry and watch retailer that was founded in San Francisco, California in 1852. The company was originally founded by George C. Shreve and his nephew Samuel, and it quickly established itself as one of the leading jewelers in the West. In the early days of the company, Shreve & Co. specialized in selling silver and gold jewelry, as well as precious stones. However, the company soon expanded its product range to include watches, and it quickly became one of the leading watch retailers in the United States. Shreve's has always been known for its commitment to quality and craftsmanship. The company's watches are sourced from the world's leading watchmakers, and Shreve & Co. is also an authorized dealer for many of the top watch brands, such as Rolex, Patek Philippe, and Audemars Piguet. This piece is entirely hand constructed in platinum with a unique bracelet and adjustable buckle. We have just serviced this fine watch and it keeps dependable time as well. Remarkably, it is nearly 100 years old and can still be worn and counted on to get you there on time, every time.
