Swiss Art Deco table clock from the 1930s
About the Item
Swiss Art Deco Mantel Clock, 1930
This Art Deco mantel clock features a circular, clear glass dial that allows for an unobstructed view. The Arabic numerals and hour markers are silkscreened directly onto the glass. The hands, along with the sun-disc pendulum visible through the dial, are metal with a dark patina. The dial rests on a solid metal base, possibly bronze or brass, which displays a textured surface and finish that enhances the clean, functional lines of the overall design.
