About the Item

Product Description: Marianne Westman was a designer for the Rörstrand factory from 1950 to 1971. Marianne designed celebrated tableware like the Mon Amie- and Picknick series. Although Marianne is mostly known for her work in series she also made unique pieces that are worth a look. Marianne was inspired by nature, a lot of the paintings on her items as the forms of her items (like the Kaktusar items) resemble animals / flowers / vegetables / fruits etc. Besides earthenware Marianne designed all sorts of textiles as well. The item on offer is a wallclock which works perfectly and is in very good shape. This wallclock fits squarely in the Swedish design of that period. It will fit rooms with minimalist designs but will also come into its own in more richly filled places. Product condition: The product is in very good condition, no irregularities can be found. Given the age of the item (produced in the 60's) it must have been taken care of very well by its previous owners. Height: 31.5 cm Width: 20 cm Depth: 5.5 cm Weight: 1460 gr
