Round Ink Stone with Qianlong Mark
A round Chinese ink stone with a dark, textured exterior and smooth central basin for grinding ink. The rim is decorated with raised circular motifs. The grinding surface has a deep green hue. A seal-script inscription on the base reads Da Qing Qianlong Nian Zhi (Made during the Qianlong reign of the Great Qing dynasty), referencing the Qianlong Emperor’s rule (1735–1796).
