Artist Emile Pinedo
Signed bronze set on very rare and special marble
Emile Pinèdo (1840-1916) was a French sculptor and medalist. Initially, it was a company producing artistic bronzes and furniture, run first by his father around 1850, then by his son Emile, in 1865 under the name "Émile Pinèdo fils" in the Marais district of Paris. He continued his activity until the 1930s.
Émile Pinèdo also worked as a sculptor, where he achieved some success. He made his debut at the Salon of French Artists in 1870, and later participated in the Chicago Exposition in 1893, where he presented works that captured the public's attention with their polychrome patinas.
