Vintage Japanese Lacquer Wood Travel Desk, Early 20th Century

About

Japanese lacquer wood travel desk is an original artwork realized in Japan in the first half of the 20th century. Lacquer wood artefact. Made in Japan. Mint conditions. Decorated lacquer wood travel desk with compositions of blossoming cherry trees and landscape with cranes. Internal compartment delimited by a Fuji-shaped partition. The top of the desk has a black background with golden decorations and the interior has wood decorations. This object is shipped from Italy. Under existing legislation, any object in Italy created over 70 years ago by an artist, designer or craftsman who has died requires a license for export regardless of the work’s market price. The shipping may require additional handling days to require the license according to the final destination of the object.
