About the Item
The most charming little desk fancy of a cat climbing a pole.
The cat is crafted in bronze, so finely detailed for such a small fellow, cold painted in realistic colours, the cat has a tabby colouring and green eyes.
He climbs a pole made of sterling silver and the base is made of wood and sterling silver, the pole has an acorn finial.
A wonderful and curious piece!
Fully hallmarked for Sterling silver, Birmingham Assay office 1925
Approx measurements:
2.75" height
1.25" width
Condition:
Good used condition overall, some areas of wear to the paint, silver with overall patina, the acorn has been reattached at some point with glue.
