Vintage Meissen Porcelain Blue Onion Pattern Shoe or Slipper Paperweight

About the Item

A good, vintage Meissen Blue Onion (or Zwiebelmuster) pattern figural paperweight. The paperweight is an iconic Meissen form in the shape of a traditional slipper (Pantoffel) or shoe. The base bears a blue underglaze crossed swords factory mark and various numbers and cyphers. Measures: Length ca. 6 3/4 in.
