Gorgeous Murano hand blown Zanfirico ribbons and gold flecks Italian art glass sculptural flower vase. Documented to designer Dino Martens for Aureliano Toso, circa 1954, model number 5669 (published, see last photo). The piece has white net Zanfirico ribbons and pink “A canne” ribbons alternating on the vase. The piece is profusely covered in heavy gold leaf throughout, including the shell shaped foot. Beautiful vintage Murano hand blown red and white ribbons, with gold flecks Italian art glass Genie bottle decanter. Documented to designer Dino Martens for Aureliano Toso. Similar piece is shown on the Dino Martens book, model number 6293 (see last photo). The decanter has its original stopper filled with gold leaf. It also has an original "Made In Italy" item number label underneath (folded). The alternating ribbon design creates a unique swirling pattern throughout the piece. You can feel each line on the shade, since it is not covered in clear glass. Very elegant shape. Would make a great display piece on any desk, vanity or coffee table. Use it as a decorative piece, or as a flower vase without the stopper. Mid-century era. Measures 12" tall x 4 3/4" wide.
