An exceptional, fine and impressive antique George V English sterling silver & mother of pearl photograph frame by Percy James Finch; an addition to our ornamental silverware collection This exceptional antique George V sterling silver and mother of pearl frame has a rectangular form. The anterior surface of this antique frame is embellished with twenty-four impressive mother of pearl panels, paralleling the rectangular internal window. The sterling silver sides and border to the anterior surface of the frame are plain and unembellished. This impressive antique mother of pearl frame is fitted with an impressive oak frame back and hinged strut, securing with a swivel catch. The photograph frame is inset with the original removable glass panel. Condition This antique mother of pearl frame is an exceptional gauge of silver, exceptional quality and in exceptional condition. The piece has been professionally polished and is in presentation condition. The mother of pearl is in perfect condition. Full hallmarks struck to the surface of the rim of the frame are all very clear; the hallmarks are struck deeply due to the exceptional gauge of silver.
